Poor unresponsive service - cost me $400 for not checking battery strength - seem to not care about customer service

Despite showing up close to closing time, the staff was pleasant and did not make me feel like I was inconveniencing them. I ended up getting a full battery replacement covered under my warranty with excellent service and courteous smiles along the way. The owner even made time to talk with me which I thought was nice.

Initially, we came down to look at a used 2025 Palisade. We wanted time to review the car and even test drove it. We needed better towing than our current tow vehicle. We were concerned about the low gas mileage. Then Josh recommened a 2026 Palisade Hybrid. We got 4000 pound towing capacity and no gas use for in city driving. A win all around.

I got an oil change from the dealership and after a few months the oil started to leak due to a loose screw. The oil leak caused some other damage but after a few conversations they fixed the issues free of charge.

Service was the initial 5k service. The time allotted for an oil change was min 2 hours, so I had to take the shuttle they offered. When picking up the car (after 4 hours) the shuttle was 30min late from the original time I had reserved it for and the car was returned unwashed, even if wash was supposed to be done.

So i said that i can wait. Alredy around three hours pased by. I went to the departmen, from waiting room. And i was told that she is gone for the day. Next day i was told to bring the car in. So they can started in the mornning, and see if it will be shaking during the start. it did not shake. So Make this story short, As soon she see me, run out, and sudenly returtned and started to accusing me, in some kind off none sense! and telling me that she is removing herself from serving me from that point on! So sadenly Mr. P. King came in and kind of put a end to It. remove the diagnostic charges which they were tryin to charge me! We submitted the following to the dealership and never received a response. We are looking into servicing our vehicles at other locations because of this experience. Thanks for the opportunity to provide input on our recent service visit for our Santa Fe. To be honest, we were disappointed with how the service visit charges were handled. When I checked in for my appointment I was originally quoted estimated charges of around $660. I presented a coupon for an oil change and tire rotation from our coupon book which brought the total down to $509. I signed a one page sheet detailing that estimate. I don't believe the sheet indicated that taxes were excluded, and I was never given a copy of that sheet. When I returned to pick up the car later that day, I was asked to pay around $625. We received no notice that the charges had increased. When I informed your staff that I understood the charges to be only $509 I was told the staff member knew nothing about that and that the person who checked me in had left for the day. I asked to speak with a manager, but I was told he had also left for the day. I also was told my car would not be released unless I paid the larger amount. After more discussion, he agreed to reduce the amount to $554.88. At that time, I asked to see the sheets in the folder for this service visit. Those sheets listed $509 as the charges due. When I pointed that out, the staff member pointed to a proviso next to the amount with words to the effect that the estimate may not include sales tax. He used that language to justify charging the higher, $554.88 amount. ( I was also troubled that my signature from the estimate sheet appeared to have been copied and pasted onto one of the sheets in the folder.) As I needed the car, I paid the $554.88. Before I left I received a printout of the service visit. When I got home, I looked at the printout more carefully. It was not a copy of the documents in the folder. The listing of charges on the printout shows a sales tax of $18.88, a "total amount collected" of $624.78 and "G-rewards" of $69.90 which brought the amount down to $554.88. I suspect we never received the full value of the coupon I provided when I dropped off the car and I'm still not sure why the original $509 estimate was not honored. Needless to say, this was a less than optimal experience, and it left us feeling dissatisfied with how it was handled. On another note, I will point out that several times we've been told the work would be completed within a certain timeframe, only to have it take substantially longer. For example, I was told this visit would take about 2 hours, instead, the service took closer to 4 and a half hours. This is not the first time something like this has happened. We understand that delays happen, but a pattern seems to exist where your shop's time estimates for service completion are significantly inaccurate. This suggests your staff needs to improve service completion time estimates and avoid presenting overly optimistic ones. Again, thanks for providing an opportunity for feedback. I must say this experience has led us to start considering taking our business to other dealers for service, and potentially new vehicles. We have had satisfying experiences working with your staff when we purchased our two vehicles, but this experience has left us let down and considering our options.

I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration with the service I received from Gregory Hyundai. My experience has been extremely stressful, and I believe I have been treated unfairly from the beginning. I paid $8,000 in cash for a used vehicle from Gregory Hyundai. After the sale, the level of customer service completely changed. When I discovered my vehicle had an oil leak, I brought it back to the dealership multiple times. I had to return approximately four to five different times because the problem was never properly repaired. Instead of fixing the issue, each repair attempt seemed to make the oil leak worse. Eventually, I was told that Gregory Hyundai would no longer repair my vehicle because too much money had already been spent trying to fix it. During a phone call, I was told, “I’m not fixing your car no more.” I found that statement completely unprofessional and unacceptable. I told the employee that I would speak with him when I arrived at the dealership, but when I got there, he refused to come out and talk to me. Only after I continued insisting that the issue be addressed did the dealership finally agree to repair my vehicle. One of my biggest concerns involves the timing chain repair. According to the repair invoice I received from Gregory Hyundai, as well as my Carfax report, the entire timing chain kit was supposedly replaced. However, only about three months later, my vehicle started making the same timing chain noise again. I brought it back to the dealership, and I was told that my timing chain tensioners were worn out and needed to be replaced. My question is simple: How could the timing chain tensioners already be worn out if the entire timing chain kit had supposedly been replaced just three months earlier? My repair invoice and my Carfax both indicate that the complete timing chain kit was replaced. This inconsistency has caused me to question whether all of the work listed on my repair records was actually performed as documented. Throughout this entire process, I have received conflicting explanations, broken promises, and inconsistent information. It has become very difficult to trust anything I have been told. I can guarantee that I am not the only customer who has experienced this type of treatment. Based on everything I have gone through, I believe other customers may have had similar experiences. No customer should have to make repeated trips for the same repair, be spoken to disrespectfully, or question whether the repairs listed on official paperwork were actually performed. I paid good money for this vehicle and expected honesty, professionalism, and quality workmanship. Instead, I experienced repeated failed repair attempts, poor communication, disrespectful treatment, and serious inconsistencies regarding repairs that were supposedly completed. I am asking Gregory Hyundai to take responsibility for how this matter has been handled and provide a fair resolution. I also hope this complaint is taken seriously so that future customers do not have to experience what I have been through. I simply wanted my vehicle repaired correctly and to be treated with honesty, respect, and professionalism. Unfortunately, that is not the experience I received.

The car evaluation report showed I needed transmission fluid replacement and coolant replacement. Both were probably on scheduled maintenance for a car my age. However, I had both done in April and I had contacted in late May, early June, the service dept to update their records. I told Kandice and she took care of it.

Needs some work on the service side. I brought my car in for an oil change, tire rotation, and the fuel tank expansion recall. Turns out the service department recorded the wrong milage for my car. Service receipt shows 17,422 miles, while the previous service record was performed at 21,942 miles. Called and was advised to correct the service record myself. Turns out the recall work was not performed, but the part was ordered. No notification that the part was received or other direction to remedy the situation. I need to emphasize that everyone I interacted with was courteous, professional, and helpful. I just think that there are systemic issues that need to be corrected so that things don't fall through the cracks.

Dear General Manager, I am writing to express my deep disappointment regarding my recent purchase of a 2026 Hyundai Kona from your dealership. When I purchased the vehicle, I was informed that there was an open recall requiring a replacement part. I was told the repair would take approximately 10 days to two weeks before I could take delivery of the vehicle. Based on that information, I agreed to move forward with the purchase. Since then, I have received very little communication. I had to repeatedly contact the dealership myself just to ask for updates, and each time I received different or vague answers. Today, I visited the dealership in person seeking a clear timeline. Instead of receiving one, I was told that it could take another two or even three months before the vehicle would be available. Had I been told this before signing the paperwork, I would not have purchased this vehicle. Meanwhile, I have already started making loan payments and paying for insurance on a vehicle that I have never been able to drive. What was even more upsetting was the way I was treated during today’s visit. During a phone conversation with another manager, I was accused of “lying” when I was simply explaining what I had been told during the sales process. I also overheard the manager instructing another employee to “kick them out” if I did not calm down. Being spoken to this way, especially as a customer who is simply asking for honest information, was shocking and completely unacceptable. I understand that recall repairs can sometimes cause delays, and I do not blame the dealership for circumstances beyond its control. However, I do expect honesty, transparency, consistent communication, and respectful treatment. Unfortunately, none of those expectations have been met. I recently attempted to buy a used car from this dealership and had a very disappointing experience. During my inspection, I discovered that the vehicle had a damaged undercover and a bent radiator. I requested that the broken parts be replaced and that the price be adjusted to reflect the existing damage. Instead of addressing these legitimate concerns, the sales team was arrogant, unprofessional, and rude. They showed little interest in listening, provided no reasonable explanations, and demonstrated a clear lack of basic customer service skills. They were unable to engage in a logical discussion about the issues. When the manager, Grant, became involved and realized he could not offer a sensible response, he simply ended the conversation and walked away. I expected a straightforward, professional process when purchasing a used car. Unfortunately, this dealership fell well short of that standard.

Had an issue, owner handled it personally. True stand up gentleman.

Candy, the service associate was great!! When she called to tell me that my car was ready, I asked if they had taken care of an issue and when she looked and noticed that it was not, she got it resolved by the time I got there. Also , Susie, was great and a pleasure to work with.

The staff is very unfriendly, there was no acknowledgment when I walked in. Brought my car in for a few recalls (of which I had to ask them to do because there weren’t enough parts so I left my car there) and was offered a bill of almost $3500 worth of things to fix. Didn’t leave a very good taste in my mouth overall.

It was a pleasure working with Felix. He went out of his way (by working with upper management) to give us the best deal possible. He explained the features of the car we’re interested in and gave us time to take it for a ride. The personnel were helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend.

Came in looking for a specific used car I saw on their website. Felix (salesman) helped but did not know the original car we specifically came to look at was already sold to another customer. He did find us another similar car, but that one had some flaws that the original car did not. The finance manager pushed an extended warranty plan that I really did not need. I realize I was buying a used car, but, there was no review of the car’s features before I left the lot. And they only left me a half tank of gas.

I took my car to be repaired for an oil leak/burn. when I went to pick up my car the A/C was not working but it worked fine when I dropped the car off. I didn't remove the car from the dealership, and I was told that it wasn't their fault and I have to pay a new Warranty deductible because they closed the work-order in their computer. I got the car back a few days later and it has been running badly since. I seemly like the motor timing is off or that it is mis-firing. I am going to have it checked by another mechanic before I bring it back the dealership.
