The 2013 Hyundai Elantra was completely redesigned, and it might just be the best take on Hyundai's “fluidic sculpture” design yet; it replaces the old rather dull appearance with a sleek, contemporary one. And, inside the cabin, you may be able to convince your passengers that they’re riding in something much more expensive! That’s because the center console stands out, the trims are neat and much like what you get in the more expensive Hyundai models. In contrast, the Toyota Corolla looks prudish and old-school on the outside, and feels rather drab on the inside. While the Hyundai Elantra has improved their cabin accoutrements and interior designs considerably in recent years, the Corolla has remained fairly stagnate.

The Toyota Corolla has less horsepower than the Hyundai Elantra, so it will probably be somewhat slower. Also, the Corolla's 1.8 L, 4 cylinder base engine sounds rough when compared to the Elantra. In addition to having more oomph, the 2013 Hyundai Elantra was recently been acknowledged as a “Top Safety Pick” by the IIHS (Insurance Institute for Highway Safety) and, in addition, it received a five-star crash-test rating from the NHTSA (National Highway Traffic Safety Administration). Finally, if you want the vehicle that has America’s Best Warranty, the only name you need to know is the 2013 Hyundai Elantra with its 5 years/60,000 miles to the Toyota Corolla’s 3 Years/36,000 miles. Clearly, the Hyundai Elantra is the winner of the two!
Dec 19
The 2013 Hyundai Elantra is much more popular with taller drivers and front seat passengers than the Nissan Sentra. Both vehicles get about the same amount of mileage for a gallon of gas, but the Hyundai Elantra edges out the Nissan with 29 mpg in the city and 40 mpg on the highways compared to 27 mpg in the city and 36 mpg on the highways for the Nissan Sentra. The Nissan Sentra is a little longer than the Hyundai Elantra, so you should notice that the Elantra is easier getting in and out of tight squeezes than the Nissan. With its lower torque, the Nissan Sentra doesn't transmit power to its wheels as well as the Hyundai Elantra does. Plus, the Nissan has less horsepower, so it will undoubtedly be significantly slower than the Hyundai Elantra.

Dec 19
Due to its greater front headroom and legroom, the 2013 Hyundai Elantra will be the favorite of taller drivers and front seat passengers than the Dodge Dart. Although the Dodge Dart has a larger fuel capacity, the Hyundai Elantra gets better mileage, with 29 mpg in the city and 40 mpg on the highways compared to the Dodge Dart’s 25 mpg in the city and 36 mpg on the highways. According to an article that will appear in the January edition of Consumer Reports, “…where the Dart stalls out is its powertrains.” They complained further that the Dodge Dart seems to feel “underpowered.” Additionally, The 2013 Hyundai Elantra scored a five-star crash-test rating from the NHTSA (National Highway Traffic Safety Administration) and a “Top Safety Pick” from the IIHS (Insurance Institute for Highway Safety). Standard safety features include airbags, all-dish antilock brakes, electronic stability system with traction control, and a tire pressure monitoring system.

Finally, when it comes down to the Basic Warranty, the 2013 Hyundai Elantra outdistances the Dodge Dart. With the Hyundai Elantra’s 5 years/60,000 miles compared to the Dodge Dart’s 3 Years/36,000 miles, it pretty much is NO CONTEST! When you are looking around for the best bang for your buck, check out the 2013 Hyundai Elantra; once you climb behind the wheel of a 2013 Hyundai Elantra, there’s no turning back!
Dec 19
Both the 2013 Hyundai Elantra and the 2013 Chevy Cruze are smartly styled; however, the Hyundai Elantra is unquestionably the sleeker of the two. Even when compared to the other cars that share its “fluidic sculpture” design, the 2013 Hyundai Elantra is a stunner! It has the kind of design confidence that completely discards its former unremarkable shape for a vibrant look. The Hyundai Elantra’s cabin attracts just as much attention, with its fresh and distinctive looks. And, of particular interest to admirers is the hourglass shape of the center stack of controls. It not only looks great, but it is extremely accessible and user-friendly. With 29 mpg in the city and 40 mpg on the highway, the Hyundai Elantra gets better gas mileage than the Chevy Cruze which gets 25 in the city and 36 on the highway. In addition, the Elantra has more get-up-and-go in the horsepower and torque departments than the Cruze.

Both vehicles have six speed manual with the optional automatic. Also, the Elantra and Cruze have sizable interior room for the driver and front seat passengers, together with more roominess for passengers in the rear seats. Taller drivers have more leg room in the Elantra. In the balance, the Elantra’s serene cabin styling outdoes the Cruze's. Although both cars earned the IIHS (Insurance Institute for Highway Safety) “Top Safety Pick,” the NHTSA (National Highway Traffic Safety Administration) honored the Hyundai Elantra for its results in the Five Star Crash Test, and further, the Hyundai Elantra was named the North American Car of the Year for 2012. Finally, there is not catching up with the Elantra’s America’s Best Warranty. As is the case with most of the competition, the Chevy Cruze has a 3 Years/36,000 miles Basic Warranty to the Hyundai Elantra’s 5 years/60,000 miles Basic Warranty. And, let’s not forget, the Hyundai Elantra costs less than the Chevy Cruze does.
Dec 19
The 2012 Volkswagen Jetta still gets rather lukewarm reviews from the automotive press for its chintzy interior and boring exterior. Compared to the 2013 Hyundai Elantra, the Volkswagen Jetta is downright sluggish. While the base 2012 Volkswagen Jetta doesn’t have the interior quality or ample power consumers have come to expect from Volkswagen, test drivers still like the Jetta’s affordable base price. However, although the Jetta’s base model is less expensive than the 2013 Hyundai Elantra’s, it is obvious the Jetta has cut corners, and a passing glance reveals its cut-rate interior. Once inside the Elantra’s cabin, your passengers will feel like they’re riding in something much more expensive! The Elantra’s distinctive center console and stylish trims are what you would expect to find in more expensive and upscale Hyundai models.

The Hyundai Elantra definitely outdistances the Jetta in its base model from the mileage to the horsepower and torque. Also, the Elantra has six speeds to the Jetta’s five. Recognized as the IIHS (Insurance Institute for Highway Safety) “Top Safety Pick,” the Hyundai Elantra additionally received kudos for its Five Star Crash Test rating from the NHTSA (National Highway Traffic Safety Administration). Finally, the Hyundai Elantra races ahead of the competition with its impressive America’s Best Warranty. Few vehicles can hold a candle to the Elantra’s 5 years/60,000 miles Basic Warranty, and the Volkswagen Jetta is no exception. Its 3 Years/36,000 miles falls considerably short of the Elantra. It’s no wonder that our customers have greater peace of mind with the Hyundai Elantra’s generous warranty!
